Vehicle Hire Handler

Salary: £26,000 per annum (DOE) + Bonus

We’re looking for a customer-focused Vehicle Hire Handler to join our growing team based at Birmingham Business Park. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you’ll play a key role in delivering a smooth and efficient vehicle hire experience.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing vehicle hire and repair bookings, supporting customers throughout the process, and ensuring all bookings are handled accurately and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage vehicle hire and repair bookings by phone and online.
- Record customer details and process payments.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and repairers to coordinate bookings and resolve queries.
- Arrange vehicle deliveries and collections.
- Provide regular customer updates throughout the hire process.
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining accurate records.
About You
- Previous experience in vehicle hire, car rental or customer service.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Professional, friendly and customer-focused.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Automotive or vehicle repair experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Flexible to work shifts between 8:00am and 8:00pm, plus one Saturday morning per month (9:00am – 12:00pm).
- 5 GCSEs (Grade A-C/9-4) or equivalent.
