Salary: £60,000+ (DOE & PQE)
Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)
Holiday: 26 days + bank holidays
Overview
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Family Solicitor (8+ PQE) to join a well-established team handling high-quality, privately funded work.
You’ll manage a varied caseload covering divorce, financial matters and Children Act work, alongside some advocacy and Legal Aid matters, with scope to play a key role in client development and team success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload of privately funded family matters
- Handle divorce, financial remedy and Children Act cases
- Undertake advocacy where appropriate
- Work on occasional Legal Aid matters
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across the team
- Ensure timely drafting of documents, applications and correspondence
- Contribute to business development (events, networking, pitches)
- Support delivery of team financial and performance targets
About You
- Qualified Family Solicitor with 8+ years PQE
- Strong background in privately funded family law
- Family Law Accreditation (essential)
- Proven track record of meeting billing and performance targets
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development
- Confident managing a busy caseload independently
