About the Role
MPJ Recruitment are proud to be working with an established insurance business, who are currently looking for an organised and proactive Repair Coordinator to join their Nottingham team.
You’ll be at the heart of the repair process, coordinating works from instruction through to completion and acting as a key point of contact for contractors, surveyors, adjusters, customers and internal teams.
This is a fast-paced and varied role where you’ll manage multiple priorities, keep repairs on track and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinate repairs from instruction through to completion.
- Schedule works and monitor progress against agreed timescales.
- Liaise with contractors, surveyors, adjusters and customers, keeping all parties informed.
- Monitor drying, reinstatement works, delays and variations.
- Proactively chase updates, photographs and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate repair records and internal systems.
- Ensure works remain within approved scopes and authorisations.
- Identify and escalate delays, complaints, risks and service issues.
- Support final accounts and repair-related administration.
- Maintain contractor compliance records, insurance, accreditations and renewal dates.
- Assist with contractor on-boarding and compliance checks.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, dependable and confident dealing with a wide range of people. You’ll be comfortable managing competing priorities, working to deadlines and finding practical solutions when challenges arise.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience in administration, repair coordination, insurance claims, contractor management or a similar operational role.
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A customer-focused, solutions-driven approach.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and operational systems.
Desirable Experience
- Background in insurance claims or property repairs.
- Understanding of reinstatement or restoration works.
- Experience managing contractor compliance.
- Experience using Apex or similar systems.
- Understanding of general insurance and property claims processes.
