MPJ Recruitment are currently working with a well-established and growing repair management business in Manchester, who are looking for a Repair Claims Handler to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, managing multiple cases and communicating with a range of suppliers and stakeholders to make sure repairs are progressing smoothly.

The Role

As a Repair Claims & Supply Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for managing the repair journey and making sure each claim continues to progress within the required timescales.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of vehicle repair claims from instruction through to completion.
• Working closely with repair networks, engineers, recovery providers and salvage partners.
• Chasing outstanding actions and ensuring any delays are dealt with promptly.
• Monitoring claims and identifying potential issues before they become a problem.
• Maintaining accurate records across internal systems.
• Communicating regularly with suppliers and other key stakeholders.
• Building positive working relationships with repair partners.
• Ensuring claims are handled in line with agreed SLAs, targets and compliance requirements.
• Managing a busy workload while maintaining accuracy and a high level of service.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident communicating with people at all levels.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Previous experience within motor insurance, claims, accident management, vehicle repairs or a similar environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage a number of cases and priorities at the same time.
• Good IT, administration and Excel skills.
• A proactive approach to resolving issues and preventing delays.
• The ability to work towards targets, SLAs and deadlines.
• A customer-focused approach with the confidence to deal with suppliers and stakeholders professionally.
