We’re looking for a proactive and driven Recovery Claims Handler to join our fast-paced, high-performing Credit Hire Defence Team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage your own varied caseload while developing your expertise in Credit Hire Defence. Whether you’re already experienced in recoveries or keen to build your knowledge in this specialist area, we’ll support your development every step of the way.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Recovery Claims Handler, you’ll play a key role in recovering insured and uninsured losses on behalf of our clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own portfolio of recovery claims from instruction through to settlement.
- Proactively engaging with insurers to maximise recovery opportunities and secure the best possible outcomes for clients.
- Conducting early investigations to support effective negotiations and timely settlements with third-party representatives.
- Working closely with our client’s legal team to progress complex recovery matters where litigation is required.
- Accurately recording and managing claims using our bespoke claims management system.
- Meeting and exceeding service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Reviewing and validating invoices from authorised suppliers before submitting them for approval.
- Delivering an exceptional level of customer service throughout the claims journey.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is motivated, organised, and eager to develop their career in Credit Hire Defence. You’ll ideally have:
- Experience handling motor claims.
- A genuine interest in learning and developing within Credit Hire Defence.
- A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service.
