If you’re someone who enjoys keeping things organised, solving problems, and working with numbers, this role could be a great fit. We’re partnering with a growing Manchester‑based business to recruit a Billing Handler for their finance team. It’s a brilliant opportunity for someone with a background in insurance administration, claims support, or customer service who’s ready to step into a role with more responsibility and progression.

What the Role Involves

You’ll be part of a busy, collaborative team responsible for ensuring billing is accurate, timely, and compliant. Your work will directly support the wider operation and help maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners.

Your day will include:

  • Processing repair invoices and ensuring they meet internal and external requirements

  • Checking charges against agreed rates and authorisations

  • Working with repair garages and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies

  • Handling billing queries from colleagues and external stakeholders

  • Keeping internal systems updated with accurate financial data

  • Managing a shared inbox and prioritising daily tasks

  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information responsibly

  • Ensuring all work meets compliance and regulatory standards

  • Building strong working relationships with referrers and negotiating when needed

  • Staying informed on relevant legislation and industry changes

What We’re Looking For

This role suits someone who has worked in insurance, claims, customer service, or administrative roles where accuracy and communication are key.

You’ll thrive here if you have:

  • Experience in billing, finance, insurance admin, or a similar administrative role

  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data

  • Clear and professional communication skills

  • The ability to stay organised and manage your time effectively

  • A proactive approach and willingness to collaborate with colleagues at all levels

  • Confidence in handling queries and resolving issues

  • A high level of attention to detail

Who You Are

  • Professional, friendly, and customer‑focused

  • A team player who enjoys contributing to shared goals

  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment

  • Resilient, adaptable, and able to stay calm under pressure

Why This Role Stands Out

You’ll be joining a supportive team in a modern Manchester City Centre office, with the chance to grow your skills and develop your career in a stable, expanding business. If you’re looking for a role where your accuracy and communication skills genuinely make a difference, this is a great place to build.
