MPJ Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a long-established, family-run Enforcement and Debt Recovery Agency that has supported clients across England and Wales since 1993. With decades of expertise in debt recovery, commercial rent arrears, local taxation enforcement, and High Court enforcement, our client has built a strong reputation for professionalism, fairness, and delivering positive outcomes.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a compassionate and motivated Customer Support Advisor to join their friendly and supportive team.

The Role

  • As a Customer Support Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling enquiries across the telephone, email, and live chat. You’ll play a key role in delivering fair, empathetic, and solution-focused support while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and client expectations.
  • Many of the customers you speak with may be in vulnerable or difficult circumstances, so the ability to communicate with empathy, patience, and professionalism is essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing inbound and outbound customer communications
  • Speaking with vulnerable customers in a compassionate, respectful, and empathetic manner
  • Building rapport and trust while remaining professional and solution-focused
  • Negotiating affordable and sustainable repayment arrangements
  • Providing tailored support based on individual customer circumstances
  • Identifying vulnerability and responding appropriately in line with company procedures
  • Ensuring all interactions remain compliant with regulatory standards
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on internal systems
  • Collaborating with colleagues to continuously improve customer service standards

Working Hours

Monday to Friday on a rotating shift basis:

  • 8:00am – 4:30pm
  • 9:30am – 6:00pm
  • 12:00pm – 8:00pm

Plus occasional Saturdays (8:00am – 2:00pm), paid as overtime.
