Credit Hire Claims Handler

Location: Middlewich, Cheshire
Salary: £28,500-£30,000 DOE + Monthly Bonuses
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays paid 1.5x hourly rate (9:00am-12:30pm)

We are currently recruiting for two Credit Hire Claims Handlers to join a growing and well-established business within the motor claims and credit hire industry.

The Role

As a Credit Hire Claims Handler, you will manage credit hire claims from the initial stages through to resolution, ensuring claims are handled efficiently and in line with business objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing credit hire claims from inception through to settlement.

• Liaising with insurers, solicitors, customers and other relevant parties.

• Maximising third-party capture and identifying opportunities to secure credit hire.

• Negotiating settlements and progressing claims efficiently.

• Maintaining accurate claims records and ensuring all relevant documentation is up to date.

• Working towards performance targets and contributing to the overall success of the claims team.

• Providing a professional and customer-focused service throughout the claims process.

Candidates with experience in recoveries may also be considered, provided they are comfortable supporting front-end claims handling when required.

• Competitive salary: £28,500-£30,000, depending on experience.

• Monthly bonus: Claims handlers are currently earning approximately £300-£350 per month on top of their basic salary, depending on performance.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience handling credit hire or motor claims.

• A good understanding of the credit hire claims process.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• The ability to manage a varied caseload and work towards performance targets.

• A proactive approach to progressing claims and achieving successful outcomes.

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
