Commercial Insurance Account Handler
Salary up to £36,000
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

MPJ Recruitment Ltd are currently working with a long-established and highly respected insurance broker based in Blackpool, with over 50 years of experience supporting both commercial and personal lines clients. Known for its personal approach and strong client relationships, the business provides a wide range of insurance solutions and is now part of a global insurance broker.
Duties:
- Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, providing a professional and efficient day-to-day service.
- Handling commercial insurance renewals from initial preparation through to completion and policy placement.
- Processing mid-term adjustments, policy amendments, cancellations and other servicing requirements accurately and efficiently.
- Responding to client account queries and providing clear advice and support regarding their insurance policies.
- Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients, insurers and other key stakeholders.
- Delivering excellent customer service and acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the policy lifecycle.
- Handling customer complaints in line with company procedures, regulatory requirements and agreed service standards.
- Using the Acturis system to manage client information, process policy transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with FCA regulations, internal compliance procedures and industry standards.
- Liaising with insurers and underwriters to obtain information, resolve queries and support client requirements.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring client records are kept fully up to date.
- Working collaboratively within a small and supportive insurance broker, assisting colleagues and contributing to the overall success of the business.
