Litigation Executive – Complex Injury

£60,000 – £65,000 + Benefits
MPJ Recruitment are working with an established legal practice looking to strengthen their specialist Serious Injury team with the addition of a Litigation Executive.
This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced litigators handling high-value personal injury matters involving life-changing injuries. You’ll gain exposure to complex multi-track litigation while supporting senior members of the team on a varied caseload of challenging claims.
The Role
Working as part of a specialist litigation team, you’ll assist with the progression of complex personal injury matters from inception through to conclusion, supporting senior fee earners whilst developing your own technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the management of complex personal injury litigation.
- Reviewing and analysing medical records and evidential documents.
- Preparing case summaries and detailed file notes.
- Managing disclosure and document collation.
- Preparing expert and Counsel instruction packs.
- Liaising with barristers, medical experts and other stakeholders.
- Arranging conferences and meetings.
- Monitoring court deadlines and procedural requirements.
- Conducting legal research.
- Assisting with client reporting and service delivery requirements.
- Supporting the investigation and progression of high-value injury claims.
About You
We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:
- At least 2 years’ experience within civil litigation, ideally personal injury.
- A working knowledge of CPR and relevant Pre-Action Protocols.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience reviewing medical records and evidential documentation.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
- A proactive and professional approach to client service.
