Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am-1:00pm on a rota, paid at overtime rate

MPJ Recruitment is working with an established automotive business in Wrexham that is expanding its workshop operation and looking to appoint skilled technicians across both cars and vans.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician to join a supportive workshop environment with access to manufacturer training, career progression and an attractive bonus structure.
The Role
As an Automotive Service & Repair Technician, you’ll be responsible for keeping customer vehicles safe, reliable and performing to manufacturer standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out routine servicing and scheduled maintenance.
- Diagnosing mechanical and technical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
- Completing mechanical repairs and replacing defective components.
- Working on both passenger vehicles and commercial vans.
- Carrying out comprehensive vehicle health and safety checks.
- Following manufacturer repair procedures and technical specifications.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.
- Accurately completing workshop paperwork and digital job records.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Providing a professional service and contributing to a positive customer experience.
About You
We’re looking for a technically capable and motivated automotive professional who takes pride in the quality of their work.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
- Strong mechanical servicing, repair and diagnostic experience.
- Experience identifying and resolving vehicle faults.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and within a busy workshop team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and vehicle maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
- A full UK driving licence is preferred.
