We’re looking for an ambitious Claims Manager to lead a high-performing Motor Recovery Claims team based in Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business where you’ll play a key role in driving team success, improving recoveries, and delivering an exceptional service to corporate clients.

You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day performance of the team, mentoring claims professionals, and ensuring service standards and financial targets are consistently achieved.

As Claims Manager, you will:

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Motor Recovery Claims Handlers.
  • Drive team performance against SLAs, KPIs and quality standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the claims team and senior management.
  • Monitor workloads, productivity and service delivery to ensure exceptional client outcomes.
  • Oversee complex or high-value recovery claims, providing guidance and support where required.
  • Prepare for client service reviews and ensure recovery processes remain fully documented and compliant.
  • Identify training needs, conduct performance reviews and support career development within the team.
  • Assist in controlling the claims lifecycle while supporting aged debt recovery and financial performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and corporate clients.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience managing a team within a motor claims, insurance, legal or claims management environment.
  • Strong knowledge of motor claims, including pre-litigated recovery claims.
  • Experience working directly with clients and attending or leading client meetings.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate a high-performing team.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • The flexibility to adapt within a fast-paced claims environment.
  • The right to work in the UK.
