Lead Operational Excellence
Are you an experienced Operations or Account Manager who thrives on delivering exceptional service, building strong client relationships and driving operational performance?
We’re looking for an Operational Account Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of dedicated client contracts, ensuring high service standards, operational efficiency and commercial success.
The Role
You’ll manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring contractual obligations, Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently achieved. Working closely with clients and internal teams, you’ll identify opportunities to improve service delivery, enhance operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
You’ll also lead and develop your team, using data and performance insight to deliver excellent customer outcomes and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the operational delivery of dedicated client contracts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement improvements to performance and efficiency.
- Ensure contractual SLAs and KPIs are consistently achieved.
- Lead client review meetings and resolve operational issues and escalations.
- Analyse operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Produce performance reports for clients and senior management.
- Lead, coach and develop operational teams to maximise performance.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to improve service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Operational or Account Management.
- 2+ years’ experience leading or managing teams.
- Experience within vehicle rental, fleet management, mobility or a similar industry.
- Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing performance against SLAs and KPIs.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong commercial awareness and leadership skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Educated to A-Level, Degree level or equivalent experience.
Desirable
- Project Management qualification.
- Lean Six Sigma qualification.
- Experience implementing digital service or operational improvement solutions.
