The Opportunity
MPJ Recruitment are working in partnership with a rapidly growing business within the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) space, offering an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to join their team.
This role provides a genuine entry point into M&A, combining telesales, lead generation, and relationship-building, with exposure to how deals are sourced and completed. You’ll be engaging directly with business owners and playing a key role in identifying new opportunities.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Research and identify potential acquisition targets
- Make outbound calls to financial advice firms
- Build relationships with directors and business owners
- Qualify and validate new opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records and track activity
- Book meetings and manage follow-ups for senior members of the team
- Support with admin and project-based tasks where required
- Gain exposure to the M&A lifecycle, including due diligence and deal processes
What We’re Looking For
- A strong interest in developing a career within M&A / corporate finance
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Target-driven with a positive attitude towards KPIs
- Organised with the ability to manage workload effectively
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Experience in a similar role is required, and full training will be provided.
