Litigation Paralegal
Location: Liverpool, hybrid
Salary up to £32,000 (DOE)
MPJ Recruitment are working with one of the leading law firms in the UK where they offer bespoke solutions for clients.
Our client is looking for experienced Litigation Paralegals to join their Motor insurance team based within their Liverpool office.
About the role:
As an experienced Litigation Paralegal, you will have responsibility for and progress a Motor Insurance litigated defendant caseload to an effective and satisfactory conclusion for clients, ensuring high levels of service delivery, both internally and externally. You will maintain management information under the terms of the client service level agreement. The Litigation Paralegal role and will either involve a higher level of technical knowledge and competence or the addition of wider responsibilities outside of the scope of solely running a case load depending upon the team you are in.
You will have the opportunity to work within a dedicated Insurance team where you will proactively manage & progress a litigated caseload of Motor Defendant Insurance cases to conclusion. You will have knowledge of and work cases in line with all client SLAs for the files within your responsibility by using case management systems to improve speed of settlement and adding value to the cases, whilst adhering to client requirements.
As a Litigation Paralegal, you will also apply the specific technical principles needed to drive the proactive settlement of the case whilst adding value for the client as well as achieve a high standard of financial and overall file performance as identified through KPI’s on the Motor Dashboard.
Our client is keen to attract passionate people with a solid experience of:
- Running a Litigated Caseload with a proven record of accomplishment of success from both a financial results and client service perspective.
- Computer literate including proficient use of Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail to be able to carefully analyse files and data.
- The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in your attitude and approach to work
