Third Party Motor Claims Handler/Large Loss Claims Handler

Salary: £24,000 to £30,000 

Days/ Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 17:00pm

Location: Manchester City Centre (Office Based)

MPJ Recruitment are currently representing a client who are experts and specialistin the general insurance and broking arena along with dealing with Commercial Motor Fleet and Underwriting. Our client act within high value and large loss claims. This opportunity will be based within our clients office which is located in Manchester City Centre.

Their insurance claims process and their management boast over 50 years experience in the industry.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and motivated Third Party Motor Claims Handlers/Large Loss Claims Handler from either a personal lines or commercial claims background to join the team and work together with various internal and external stakeholders to set the client up for success.

What you will be doing:

• Dealing with the motor claims from inception through to recovery (cradle to grave).
• Mitigating the cost of your captures by establishing the needs of the third party and following our processes
• Supporting the follow up process in handling claims and mitigating the claims spend.
• Ensuring all claims are processed with an eye for potential fraud, exaggeration, and indemnity.
• Reviewing claims processes and recommending changes. You will also be highlighting missed opportunities, leakage, and areas for improvement.
• Supporting technical intervention claims matters in respect of questions / escalated customer scenarios and calls/liability referrals etc.
• Supporting and sharing best practice with the team.
