We’re on the lookout for Business Development Managers who are experts in relationship building and have experience across the Automotive sector.

You’ll be supported and provided with full training to help you in making your mark and excelling within your area. As a sales expert you’ll work closely with Senior Sales Managers to develop sound growth strategies and use your industry expertise to identity opportunities for development and promote our clients services.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Working in conjunction with sales management to develop a business growth strategy.
  • Provide monthly reports on progress against agreed objectives.
  • Attend industry related events and represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Gain knowledge of industry related matters and communicate with the team, working collaboratively with all staff in the business.
  • Identify opportunities for new business campaigns and promote services that will lead to an increase in work.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the companies unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Use various databases to prospect new clients.
  • Work with existing sources to grow, maintain, and leverage increased volumes.
  • Ensure all databases are updated following client interaction.
  • Liaise with operations and/or sales support regarding customer issues and manage customer follow up accordingly.
  • Attend sales meetings and play an active part in future planning and development of the team and the business.

Your Experience and Skills

  • Willingness to learn and gain industry knowledge.
  • An understanding of the accident repair sector
  • Competent computer skills, CRM, and Microsoft.
  • BDM or Sales Manager experience within Accident Management, Repair Network or Automotive Supplier sectors.
  • Has personal attributes required to develop relationships and grow sustainable business.
  • Demonstrate resilience achieving objectives regardless of hurdles.
  • Experience working in a solutions lead sales environment.
  • Experience in a consultative sales environment.
  • Ability to plan activity and work on own initiative.
  • Used to working with targets and objectives.
